At Mindbody Connection, your safety, comfort, and wellbeing are our priority. Please review the following policies before booking your session.
Appointments & Scheduling
All sessions are by appointment only. Services must be booked in advance through our online booking system or by contacting the studio directly.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to respect the next client’s appointment time. Full session fees still apply.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed without notice will be charged 100% of the service cost.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Package sessions must be used within the agreed timeframe and are non-refundable.
Health Disclosure
Clients are responsible for disclosing all relevant health information, medical conditions, injuries, pregnancies, or medications prior to their session. Failure to do so may result in refusal or modification of services for safety reasons.
Scope of Practice
All services provided are for wellness, relaxation, and educational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. Massage therapy, Reiki, Sound Therapy, Pilates, and Infrared Sauna services do not replace medical care.

Service-Specific Contraindications
Massage Therapy
Massage may be contraindicated or modified for the following conditions:
• Fever, infection, or contagious illness
• Recent surgery or acute injury
• Blood clots or thrombosis
• Severe osteoporosis
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Skin conditions, open wounds, or rashes
• Recent vaccinations (within 48 hours)
Please inform your therapist of any discomfort during your session.

Reiki Energy Healing
Reiki is generally safe and gentle for most individuals. However:
• Reiki is not a substitute for medical or mental health care
• Clients experiencing severe mental health conditions should consult with their healthcare provider before receiving energy work
Reiki may evoke emotional release; clients are encouraged to communicate openly during sessions.

Sound & Vibrational Therapy
Sound therapy may be contraindicated or require modification for individuals with:
• Sound sensitivity or auditory disorders
• Seizure disorders or epilepsy
• Severe migraines triggered by sound
• Pregnancy (certain frequencies may be avoided)
• Implanted medical devices (pacemakers, cochlear implants)
Please notify your practitioner of any sensitivities or medical devices prior to your session.

Infrared Sauna & Chromotherapy
Infrared sauna use may be contraindicated for individuals who:
• Are pregnant or trying to conceive
• Have cardiovascular conditions without medical clearance
• Have low blood pressure or fainting disorders
• Are dehydrated or experiencing illness/fever
• Have implanted medical devices not approved for heat exposure
• Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Clients must hydrate before and after sauna sessions and may exit the sauna at any time if discomfort occurs.

Pilates (Mat & Apparatus)
Pilates sessions may require modification for clients with:
• Recent surgeries or acute injuries
• Spinal conditions or disc issues
• Joint replacements
• Pregnancy or postpartum conditions
Clients should inform their instructor of any pain, discomfort, or limitations during movement. Pilates is not intended to replace physical therapy unless prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
