Melissa Traino owner of Mindbody Connection Massage & Fitness is a fully insured New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified level 2 Cupping Therapist (CMCT) and Certified Pilates Instructor. Melissa graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2009. With the integration of Massage Therapy and Pilates Melissa can provide her clients with the tools they need to have a well rounded healthy lifestyle with a positive connection of mind and body. With Massage Therapy she can help treat various aliments/conditions and with Pilates she can help you to strengthen your body and work to proper body poster and alignment. Melissa is a well rounded Therapist having continuing education in Deep Tissue Massage Techniques, Orthopedic Massage Techniques for Cervical Pain/Treatments, Effective Treatments for Sciatica, Myofascial Release: Clinical Applications, Dynamic Stretching, Hot Stone and Hot Bamboo Therapy, Orthopedic Massage: Upper & Lower Body Treatments & Assessments. She is certified through Balanced Body in Pilates Mat, Reformer Trapeze Table, Chair and barrels since 2013. Melissa also just recently completed her Reiki Master level training in 2022.
Danielle LeFever is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified level 2 Cupping Therapist (CMCT). She is insured with and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Danielle is a 2016 graduate from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage with over 1,000 hours of training. Danielle's main goal is to provide her clients with relaxation of both mind and body. Her approach to each client is individualized by their personal needs whether it's simply to relax or relieve pain. Danielle is looking forward to broadening her practice and spreading more awareness within her community about the incredible significance Massage Therapy has in the Integrative Health field.
Cara Mullen received her comprehensive Pilates apparatus instructor training from Balanced Body Master Instructor, Jessica Moss, at the Pilates Core Center in NJ in 2021-22. She is insured and currently working towards her national Pilates teacher certification exams as well as continuing to expand her scope of practice & education in Pilates. Cara began practicing Pilates over 20 years ago as a preteen with a couple VHS tapes in her bedroom which eventually evolved into group mat classes at a gym locally & continuing to explore her passion for Pilates while completing her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from LeMoyne College in 2010. Cara became a regular client with Melissa shortly after the studio opened in 2015 while balancing jobs in both hospitality and the healthcare field. Cara accredits & relies on her Pilates practice for consistently providing relief from chronic knee & back pain since childhood due to physiological conditions and past injuries, as well as, to support her overall health & wellbeing! In 2018, Cara also completed a certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC. Cara is looking forward to providing space & guidance for her clients to move, breathe, heal, build strength, stamina and challenge body & mind!
