Laura Vivio is a citizen of the world: she speaks six languages and has lived in seven different countries (so far!). Laura’s career as actor and theatre-maker just recently brought her to the Central New York area from the United Kingdom. Laura has always firmly believed that a healthy mind can more easily exist and better thrive in a healthy body. This guiding principle in life naturally brought her to discover yoga some years ago and it was indeed love at first sight. Laura completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in London, UK in 2018 and started teaching immediately after having qualified. Laura has two dogs she adores, she is an animal lover and activist, and enthusiastically follows an entirely plant-based diet. Laura’s main focus during her classes is on the breath, on correct body alignment in each asana and - last but most definitely not least - on safety for all participants. Her preferred mode of practice is a fairly dynamic one, but also one where each practitioner listens first and foremost to their own body and their own individual needs in the present moment.
Carlie Willson is a Licensed Massage Therapist in New York State and has a Certification in Hot Stone Massage. Carlie is insured with American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in December of 2014. She became a therapist to help clients relax but also to help relieve their pain. She integrates Swedish massage with deep work so the client can not only feel the relief during the session, but also after they leave as well. She is also planning to broaden her knowledge so she can find even more ways to help her clients succeed in pain free life.
